Description
In this course we will study Christology - the person and work of Christ. The course will prioritize Scripture while also seeking to understand how the church has defended the deity and humanity of Jesus. This survey will help students understand Christ’s central role in the church’s faith and practice.
Objectives
To point students to Christ from his Word in order to strengthen their faith, knowledge, and affections
To equip students to know how to interpret Scripture with Scripture by identifying the key texts for understanding who Jesus is and what he has done.
To inform students of how the church has historically answered the question, “Who is Jesus?”
To prepare students for ministry so that they know how to better proclaim Christ and him crucified.
